Inspired my Ali Edwards "Week in the Life" Project
I have been following Ali Edwards "Week in the Life" project and I just love it and I will do a week in the life when I am on holidays this summer so I can be home to photograph and document the week.
I decided to document our weekends at the trailer.
I have designed my own pages and word art for this as well.
Here are the pages I did for our first weekend there...it was the opening weekend at the park and I hope I can continue to document all summer long :)
It's never to late to start planning for the Holidays. Now thru December Molly from Biograffiti is going to share some gift ideas and projects. Be sure to check out her blog! There's nothing better than giving a hand-made, err "scrap-made" gift. She loves the feeling she gets knowing she is giving something personal from the heart that will be treasured (and secretly she is smiling because as special as it is, she does most thing's digi-style so she knows she has her my own copy too LOL).
Molly's favorite thing to give also happens to be the most work- a Scrapbook! A couple of years ago she started making a scrapbook for her husband's grandparents who live in France. They have never met. She included pictures throughout the year of our family and the rest of her husband's family. Last year Molly and I teamed up and created the Life is Beautiful Quick Album knowing it would make a perfect gift album.
She printed the pages as 8x8 and put them in a cloth covered album w/ page protectors (bought at Roberts) for her family in France. Then she ordered the album as a Photobook for her Mother in Law from American Color Imaging. She will be printing an album for her family too using Persnickety Prints. Here's how the France book turned out:

Earlier this year Molly and I teamed up again and created the ABC Quick Album. It reminds me of an ABC book for grown ups LOL. Not too cutesy- more modern, fresh and just simply beautiful. This is the Quick Album she is using for this year's France book.
